'So this is where I apply? Good. What do you want to know? My personal history...well, there isn't a whole lot. Born on some lousy dirtball in the empire, smuggled out as a child. Never knew my parents. The usual stuff. Got raised in a slum, lied about my age to join the fleet as soon as I could. Anything to get off that rock. I guess I must have made an impression on somebody along the way, because I got fast-tracked into this capsule implant program. They put so much tech into my brain that my head is now worth a few hundred times the annual income of my entire hometown. And then they just dumped me out into space, with a crappy-ass frigate and no purpose. I've been drifting ever since. Been doing some mercenary work...driving pirates away from civilized space. Or as civilized as it ever gets, at any rate... Because it's a losing battle. Pirates, slavers, tyrants. Shoot one and another arises in his place. Destroy a ship, blow up a station...doesn't matter in the long run, because there's so damn many of them. And there's only one of me unless you count clones in storage. That's why I'm here. That's why I want to join up. There's no future in being a lone pod pilot. I might be able to beat the odds for a little longer, but sooner or later my luck's going to run out. I don't want to rely on luck any longer. I'd prefer allies. And maybe, just maybe...a chance to make the world a slightly better place.' 15.4m SP combat char with a broad range of skills (Gallente, Amarr, Minmatar. Skills include CovOps, Interceptors and AFs). Minimal PvP experience, but I'm a fast learner. |
