I never really liked the game mechanics of the wite wolf games but they do ahave a great deal of nice sceanery for setting up good stories. they also have publishing house for any short stories or novels you might write in the EVE universe

mm i agree mary, whitewolf have some beautifuly well made up scenary (i havent looked at the NWoD yet though) but i agree on the mechanics in some ways. my main issue with WW was more alot of the other players i knew at one point. lets just say there is a certain level of mopey whiney self obsessed gothic bitchiness that i just cant take. (please note, this has nothing to do with goths, i have nothing against them, i listen to probally a bit much gothic music, (although im nothing of the sort) |

Yeah Anade, i found similar shit with the people that were playing the WW games. they are quite flexible and are supposed to give an oportunity for better storytelling (i playeyed Amber with Hon and Ric, a diceless system). But for some reason, the people that were taking on the WW game were a bunch of whiney mopey pratts. consequently i never got into it. although my favorite game system is still GURPS, and i am sure people can say lots of nasty things about GURPS players, hell i'll start, rule lawyering engineers obsessing with game mechanics.... |

heh... i was a fan of of interlock system from cyberpunk 2020, thought the fuzion system brought in in cyberpunk 303X isnt to bad either And my short exposures to the Call of Cthulhu 6ed doesn look to bad either.
Never got into the gurps system if the truth be known. never knew any players. |
